A bunch of people get the day off for my Birthday on Monday... :)

One brother has a '57 Chevy, a '57 Nomad, a '60 Vette, a '66 Chevelle and a '64 Corvair convertible. The other one has two '53 Chevys, one a convertible that didn't come out that way. It has no top.

4-day weekend because I'm taking off tomorrow. Going down to South Florida and being Awesome, as usual.

3 day weekend is pretty ****ing juicy right now. I don't know what I'm doing, but it'll be whatever I feel like for 3 solid days. I'm good with that.

Some of us don't get the luxury of having holidays off. Or weekends.

I hate my job sometimes.

My plans are day to day,Mrs' Nzoner's dad is very ill and hospice is saying any day now.We've been out of town at his place for 3 days but I'm heading back tomorrow because my lil bro and his family are flying in from Georgia this weekend and will be here thru Thursday.We're supposed to be having a cookout Monday and going to Royals game next Wed but needless to say those plans could change quickly.

Be sure to say "thanks" to the men and women who served in the armed forces, despite if you support or don't support the wars. Even if you don't know a person, and say he/she is wearing a military uniform/hat, etc, take a few seconds out of your busy schedule, and ask if they served. If they didn't, apologize and move on. If they did, tell them, thank you, and continue back to your daily busy schedule.

It's the honorable thing to do.

Saturday morning: with Boy Scouts placing flags on graves at military cemetary.

Saturday afternoon: visiting aging and terminally ill veterans at the local VA hospital.

Saturday evening: flying out of KCI with my wife for a week-long vacation to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

Of coarse we have to take in the USAC "Night before the 500" Midget Race at IRP Saturday night!
