They came out shortly after and said it wasn't to cut price, it was because the ~65 games was an adequate number on the market and that they wanted people to buy them, instead of buying PS2 games. They needed to start recouping development and early adopter money in the form of publishing/licensing fees and it wasn't happening.
The best game I've played on my PS3 is God of War 2, followed closely by the recently released inFamous.
I am sure everyone will get a chance to play God of War 2... when it's released on the PSN for more than you can get the PS2 version at Gamestop.

I am not offended, you can debate the merits of the different consoles without taking one extreme or the other is all. If Microsoft is eating people's children they wouldn't have sold 30 million consoles. There were problems, they made it right and are past them for the most part, and I am saying that as someone who's had their console replaced 3 times, and own a Wii and PS3 as well.
