There will be people who will be missing Carl by season's end, even if they won't paint the bull's eye on themselves by posting it here.

Haley's high expectations may scratch the anti-Herm itch for fans now, but his tirades and singling out players in the media will get old.

I would be underwhelmed by a 9-7 team too.

That is unless they made the Super Bowl and had 3 receivers with over 1k receiving with an 86 year old QB at the helm.

Then I would be mighty impressed.

You've only been here since '07. I've been coming here since 2000. Stay in the pocket. You'll see it.

 Also, the fact that Haley made this fat-ass team lose 700 pounds of Herm-inspired laziness is pretty amazing.

If only Thigpen could do the same thing ... he has to scramble because he can't throw standing straight up.

I thought was the NFL, not The Biggest Loser.

Although that might not be a bad name for the 2009 Chiefs.

You gotta love KCJohnny, he still thinks the team is 85% ready for Fail and misses his boy Herm...

Just means you've had a few more years to prove your idiocy....

Why don't you just go over to the Lions and have a Goonther lovefest?

BTW, welcome back. (You can now go away again)

FYP

At least we see progress and player development now...

LaChapelle 08-29-2009 09:37 PM

Thigpen fans got caught with schism on their faces tonight.

Please name the progression and development. I saw an absolutely horrible team tonight, how bout you?

KCJohnny 08-29-2009 09:41 PM

Well, I expected as much. Still not much in the way of decorum here, so I will leave you to each other.

It will not change the facts that signing a backup QB to a $60 mil deal who threw 21 TDs with the same exact team that Brady hit 50 with was a big waste of $. I have been skeptical of every Chiefs hire after Cunningham. Haley can still win me over. But he's off to a shaky start IMHO.

Enjoy the 2009 season.

That got old... This is so refreshing to see something other than Carl and any of his cronies.

I am also very happy to see Carl and his cronies gone, but so far the new cronies aren't very good either.. IMHO! They are new so only time will tell.
