I honestly don't know why anyone would want to give up a draft pick for him. He will probably be released anyway, and guys like him get released all the time. Why anyone would actually want to trade away a draft pick when we have the number 3 waiver priority doesn't make any sense to me.

Jackson and Maclin are very different type players than Baskett. Baskett is a big dude and not a burner. What I found odd was that the Eagles took the other two in in back to back drafts. I assume they were working off the BPA theory. |
