True...

Can Haley keep up tradition and lose 2 timeouts on the same bad challenge late in the game? Herm is so smart.

1.

He can't actually get the ball close enough to a wideout to get picked. Further, he throws the ball so damn hard that it tends to just fly wildly out of bounds rather than be intercepted.

I'm not even being sarcastic here, JaMarcus Russell is literally too inaccurate to even be intercepted, IMO. It's why he had relatively few last year.

JaMarcus Russell and Tyler Thigpen should have an inaccuracy contest to see who sucks the worse?

You have to ask?

Have you seen our inside LBs and safeties?

Russell stats last 3 games:

27-16 win over Houston. 16 of 25 for 223. 72%, 0 INTs.
34-21 win over Tampa B. 14 of 21 for 145. 67%, 1 INT.
20-24 loss to Sandy Eggo. 14 of 32 for 218. 44%, 2 INTs (one a hail mary int).

Last game was an aberration... 1st game jitters & no Chaz. He'll get back on track against the KC WeenieBoyz...

You see him pass and wonder why they'd do it. You see us defend the pass and wonder why they wouldn't.

I would not be surprised if they just tried to pound the rock and Russell only threw when he had to. Maybe he ends up 7/15 for 100 yards.

Oh really?????

****ing Zach Miller will eat our souls. Hopefully McFadden will fumble the ball away (some more) and we can tip a pass for an INT.

Mecca's right about our team speed.

chiefbowe82 09-16-2009 10:56 PM

Indeed. My biggest concern with Herm was that he diffused the rivalries by: 1. Talking about how he grew up as a Raiders fan
2. Fielding and coaching a sad sack of now unemployed scrubs.

I love Haley, and I would give anything to be a fly on the wall for his pregame speech, or any speech he gives regarding the Raiders and what he dreams about doing to them.

Wells hes gone and Haley already has shown he cares a hell of alot more about the players and product on the field than Herm did...

Herm could sit in a padded room all day and just listen to himself talk.
