It's one of those rare Bifurcated Stupid Snakes That Don't Know How To Evade Lawn Mowers. Needless to say, they're very endangered. Right up there with koalas and pandas. Really, who the f**k is stupid enough to only eat ONE type of food? Idiots.

I think it's a bull snake.

A big, dead, bullsnake.

I saw this one at Red Rocks over the weekend.

The OP snake is for sure a bullsnake. They are incredibly common here in Texas.

DMAC, your picture isn't clear enough for me to be able to identify your snake.

It's a bull snake. Non venomous and very good for the environment.

Groves 09-28-2009 09:30 AM

Not many snakes get large like a bullsnake. How big is it? (We already know it's a bullsnake, I just want to know it's size)

does size matter if it's dead already?
