We're better than Cleveland.

I haven't watched a Clevland game this year but have so so pretty good highlights. But as I said by the end of the year I think we will not be the worst team in the NFL.

What I don't get is how we were better last year w/ Herm coaching_ Thigpen at QB, and only playing very young players in an effort to develop them early.

Now we have Cassel, a bunch of older veterans, and Arrowhead on lockdown, but we got worse.

Last year we had close losses against decent teams. Now we're just getting blown the **** out.

did you not watch the Falcons, TItans, or panther game last year, all 3 of those were worse than what we saw yesterday easily.

You all do realize that Tampa did not have a 1st Down, yes a first down, until 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter?

And we get that same Giants defense this Sunday.

It will be their third round game, so we should benefit from this. But let's see how effective our offense looks.

I mock people for rooting for the Cubs, yet I root for the Cubs of football. And that isn't even a fair comparison, since the Cubs are actually competitive.

I was going to drive down for the Buffalo game, but after yesterday's abortion I told my buddy not to bother getting tickets. I wouldn't walk across the street to watch these loser mother****ers right now.

Seriously, I've about had enough. I don't remember the ****ing championship they won when I was FOUR, and frankly it means nothing to me.

$350+ to watch these turds on Sunday Ticket and I usually can't make it through the second quarter.

I agree. I don't think we will be the worst team in football at the end of the year. You give Cassell some time to throw and some better recievers, he will be able to deliver the ball.

Yeah, right now it is hard to be good when every big play comes back for holding and we have dropped 5 INT's in the last 2 weeks.

we might not fare any better.

I have to tell you, in regards to this year, I'm really excited about ->

The Franchise 09-28-2009 09:12 AM

We're better than the Browns but I'm pretty sure we're tied with the Rams right now for second worst in the league.

patteeu 09-28-2009 09:12 AM

I think Tampa Bay is worse than the Chiefs are. And St. Louis is no great shakes either, although they did win the Governor's cup game.

The Franchise 09-28-2009 09:13 AM

Damn...forgot Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay, St. Louis and KC are all tied for second worst in the league.

If we don't see a vast effort to improve the talent on the team this off season, then I'll join the chorus of "off with their heads". but for now I'll just suffer on a weekly basis seeing this once proud team reduced to being the worst team in football.

My question is why couldn't they have done more to address that serious lack of talent? We have plenty of cap space. To the point that we were forced to spend money because we didn't hit the minimum. Why wasn't there more effort to address the serious lack of talent when we had the resources to do so? We all knew we had a lack of talent. And they can't fix it in one offseason. But it still doesn't look like they did nearly as much as they could have...
