Real smooth.

Losses suck, especially when you have 5 kids at home and you miss important things for a loss.

you guys can get off the ego kick now.
Haley said it is not his ego getting in the way.

And what is wrong with that statement? He's got five kids. I mean that is his life outside of this suck ass team. That would be on my mind to if I was in his shoes.

He said his reasoning for throwing from the goalline was simply the time factor. Failed runs take 35-40 seconds off the clock, whereas a pass may take as little as 4 seconds.

It's somewhat logical, but I think it still implies lack of confidence in the o-line to blast the d off the ball and get in on one play.

His job is to make this a winning football team. He should be focused on how to get better.

Exactly, a successful run doesn't take much time at all.

Well I have to admit that presser did have some encouraging points...

From Haley's comments though it sounded to me like he just absolutely hates DJ. He didn't say that directly, but he danced around the DJ questions, and followed it up shortly after talking about having the right guys. Not the most talented guys, but the guys that will help the team win.

Were you honestly EXPECTING a "successful" run?

uhh, Todd. DJ has played less than half as much as the other linebackers yet has made more plays. I dont care if hes not the "right" player. He gives us a better opportunity to win than Williams, Belcher, or even Mays.
