Just sign it over to Markieff Morris and be done with it.

Damn, I don't miss property taxes or inspections. I go online every year and pay about $40.00 to renew my plates. The only time I've been to the DMV in the last 10 years was to take the test to get my CDL.

Deberg_1990 10-07-2009 03:48 PM

In Texas i pay about 60-70 bucks every year. I do it online. Dont miss standing in line at the DMV one bit.

We also have no Personal "bend you over" Property tax.

I remember when my fam lived in Texas it cost $80 to tag our suburban. When we moved to KS the next year it was $500.......:banghead:

Montana has no sales tax so they ding your car. My '04 Jeep was around $300 this year.

LMAO

Mine went from $177 last year to $477 this year.

That ain't no lie, when you buy a car here, it's going to cost you roughly 10% of the purchase price to plate it. We replaced all three of our vehicles this year so I have no idea what it is going to cost to renew any of them. Our old 98 Camry was over $200/yr, and both of my crappy early 90s Caravans were around $60-70/yr. I'm sure all of that is going to be doubled now.

Or just do the easy way. Get a screwdriver and steal someones plates. Then use a straight edge and carve it off from underneath the most bottom sticker you can find. Then use some adhesive and glue it to yours.

$54 registration for each car, $28 inspection for each car. From what I am seeing here, central Texas isn't a bad deal.

KCChiefsMan 10-07-2009 05:31 PM

ya my 2006 Focus was $120 last year, so stupid

Arkansas tags are so ridiculously cheap I kept tagging my van there for two years after I moved back to Oklahoma.

Shit, they have cops here that their only duty is to bust people for that, although as long as you don't park in the street regularly you probably won't get caught. They also have a specific phone # people can call and anonymously rat out their neighbors that are doing that.

Veteran more than %50 disabled in Oklahoma. About $7.50 each for two vehicles.

BigMeatballDave 10-07-2009 06:47 PM

While Kansas may be a conservative state, it sure seems the government is run by communists. ****, you guys are getting ass raped!
