I still think Denver will struggle against teams like the Giants and Colts. I predict Denver makes the playoffs, but loses their first game. But, you never know when they might get a couple of lucky bounces, so their making it to the big game isn't out of the realm of possibility.
I'm more worried about their long-term prospects honestly. They're young and improving. They could be scary in the next 5 years. Dammit.

Nobody knows... you're prediction is based on what you hope happens. Just like those that predict a mid/late season fade. This isn't the Broncos' team of the last few years. Nobody knows what they will be in a month... they could be 5-5, 7-3, 6-4...
The Cowboys certainly have their issues - I think a lot of it is their coach, they have a lot of very nice players. And the Pats aren't legit contenders? Get outta here with that craziness...
They're a bit out of synch with Brady at times, but they're still very good. Their Oline took a hit yesterday, their ground game has no true threat (but that's nothing new, they've never really had a consistently dominant RB) and they have a liability in the secondary with Springs... but, they're still very good.
If Denver can win @ San Diego this week - and that's a huge IF ... we all know how the AFCW divisional home games fare most of the time ... but IF Denver can beat the Chargers on Monday Night, then the sky is the limit.
If Denver can walk into week 7 with a 4 game lead in the division... many will point to 2008 and say "it can happen again", but I don't see that kind of quit in this team.
But, I won't worry about that until after the game. San Diego is a huge threat on their home grass... we'll see. The Chargers have defeated the Raiders and Dolphins (combined 2-7) ... losing to the Ravens and Steelers (combined 6-4).
I definitely like Denver's chance to win in week 6, but it certainly won't be easy.
