Jacoby Ford atleast has potential to be a top flight return man.

TrickyNicky 10-12-2009 11:20 PM

At this point, any receiver we take needs to be a hell of a returner.

How was the intensity in his eyes on that dig and go?

Mecca 10-12-2009 11:24 PM

I'm sorry next years draft has basically 4 guys who have top potential as starters, and there are guys like Ford who have potential to be slot/return men.

I don't want to read pimping of guys who are mid round picks.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 10-12-2009 11:26 PM

huh? are you poking fun at the white football player stereotype? I thought we were discussing his skills here

Mecca 10-12-2009 11:29 PM

If you're talking to me I'm telling you there are 4-5 WR's in next years draft with legit starting potential, outside of that it gets really slim.

They're all slot guys return men stuff like that.

Hey! from bum to mid round. We're making progress here. I really want to thank you for your insight here. Usually you and Hamas are good for an in-depth response, but why even bother on mid-round prospects. Or maybe we will all just wait for the updated draft sites with detailed analysis... get back to me in February I guess

and sorry I was talking to Hamas about the stereotype thing

He's frail, bad injury history, and most high school prospects have their #s severely overrated. I'd trust a time he ran as a high schooler about as much as I'd trust Bernie Madoff.

Case in point: Mark Sanchez's Rivals page lists him as 6'4" at 18...at the combine, 6'2".

Everette Brown: 6'4"...combine: 6'1 1/2"

He seems like a career ST guy who will probably hang on as a #5 receiver. #3-#4 that I mentioned earlier is his absolute top upside.

Bad program, bad system, old prospect, checkered injury history. Too many ?s for me.

Who was the one who sucks the penis pimping EB at #3 overall? He had him in his avatar? Arguing with me to no end?

JFC, we have some stupid mother****ing fans.

Everette Brown.

LMAO

1 tackle this year. He's a real game changer.

This is true X1000 but I really don't think he's far from a 4.5 right now. He certainly doesn't look slow in pads. Thanks for the input... As much as he seems like Quan Cosby...I just don't know. I really don't think a 3rd/4th round pick is out of the question. I don't think he'll have much problems adjusting to a pro offense. Regardless of program, He's a hard worker and a student of the game....not exactly VY, C-bong, or Simms. I mean... he's a coach's son...oh shit I've sunk to white player stereotypes.... then again Colt McCoy is a coach's son and I think he will be complete ass. Injury and size concerns are completely legitimate, I just think we disagree on his ceiling...

teedubya 10-13-2009 01:19 AM

I say we only draft LSU and Texas players... we will be good in NO TIME!!!!1eleventy!!111eleventyagain!!11

If you really like him, just tell people that he's a Wes Welker clone.

That worked for Lance Long.

I think it has something to do with being white and alliteration.
