If players treat the media like shit and nothing is done about it, the media is going to paint the players and the team in a negative light and have every right to do. The league wants no part of that, nor do they want gay organizations breathing down their necks and demanding penalization.

Haley never even played in high school? seriously?

i'll give a new coach the benefit of the doubt, and Haley has been carving his own path unlike Marty's hangers-on, but it still really bugs me how coaches and execs pull their kids into these jobs instead of picking the most qualified people.

I guess a lot of that depends on how much you respect the media. I hear what you are saying though.

LJ is probably lucky he was just talking to a group of local media. Imagine if John Clayton or Jay Glazer were standing around when he'd dropped the f-bomb.
