I am surprised how many give Waters a pass. He has played as poorly as anyone on the line on many occaisions.

Niswanger is the second biggest problem behind Goff. He's the guy who's supposed to be calling the protections.

And by the way, when Niswanger left the game, Cassel had a clean pocket for the first time all season.

The reason the Chiefs lost to San Diego was: #1) horrendous blocking in the first half (with Niswanger leading the way); #2) horrendous defense in the first half; #3) horrendous play from Cassel when his o-line was finally doing their job.

Wade Smith is 1000 times better than Niswanger.

The line looked better when Alleman played against Dallas, and the line looked better when Wade Smith was on the field. Get those two on and get Niswanger and Goff out. Haley has to see this. Honestly Pioli and Haley could in a way be bombing this season while evaluating what we have just go get another year of high drafting to bring up this talent level and more of "their" players who are good. I mean yeah thats a shitty thing for them to do, but could turn out to be great in the long run.

I don't expect him to be 'great'. I just don't think he sucks as much as most on here.

I don't understand why we bash guys that we know don't have the best talent, while we excuse make for guys who have much more talent.

To me, Brian Waters should take most of the blame, because he isn't playing at a pro bowl level.

Niswanger isn't either, but I don't expect HIM to.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wade Smith at center and Niswanger at guard replacing Goff.

I hate Brown. Hes horrible and id rather see morgan and page starting..oh and not to mention DERRICK JOHNSON!!!

Nobody is making excuses for these guys.

The difference is that Brian Waters on his worst day is a hell of a lot better than Niswanger on his best day.

It's not about making excuses for players. It's about putting the "right 5" on the offensive line. Waters belongs there. Niswanger doesn't. And yet the coaching staff doesn't get it.
