I think it helps in negotiating a higher salary as they don't have to pay the commission.

I've only been without a job for a couple of months in the last 10 years. So, they are calling and emailing me while I'm still employed at one place to go work somewhere else. But if I was without a job, you bet I'd be applying to every job instead of waiting on some recruiters call. |
