Every team is going to have at least 1 bad game in some phase. One bad game is more than acceptable.

Most needed a snapper. Returners can be forged though I would like one with "the knack". Copper and Lawrence, if they are still on the team, just need to be coached up some now that they have had a taste.

The stats bear it out, too.

If you take out Cribbs' game - and I don't see a problem with that, really, we're talking about one game out of 16 - the Chiefs would be tied for 10th in the league in kickoff coverage.

Punt coverage was 7th.

Charles was 10th in kickoff return average.

Noooooo. Don't touch Copper. He's one hell of a Special Teams player. Keep him in coverage. He has pretty much no upside as a returner.

They could work on their protection on kick offs, though a good returner helps a lot.

I was speaking worst case scenario of course. Lawrence has the speed. He just needs to learn WTF to do. But I agree, I would like someone else.
