I once subbed at my former HS. Im my grad class there was probably about 50 black students. I go back there and half the damn school is black. A lot of students moved from the inner cities into the sub urbs and live in duplexs and other apt's under government programs. It was a lot different. I thought Blue Springs was Raytown

The idea of CoMo teaching anyone makes me sure that the world will end in 2012.

We could legalize pot, turn all the pot offenders out of prison, and take the suddenly unneeded guards and put them in schools like this, perhaps two to a classroom with a couple of dozen standing by if needed. Take away their phones, tell them to sit down, shut the **** up and do their work. The first one who mouths off gets his teeth knocked out. The next one gets his legs broke. After that, the rest will probably listen.

My girlfriend has "observed" high school classes in her student teaching days where they were allowed to get up and walk out of class and it was not necessary to come back at all, where they were allowed to listen to their IPod (as long as one ear was left uncovered), and had no reason to listen to the teacher or follow along in class. Absolutely pathetic, but no, not half as bad as the opening poster's obviously extremely exaggerated, if not entirely fictional, experience.

The worst malcontent in my graduating class would probably be the best student in the classroom described in the initial post of this thread. These kids have no discipline, they won't learn, and they are doomed to a life of failure and will succeed in nothing but spawning more doomed brats. Discipline must be restored to schools like this. |
Frazod's posts go so well with his avatar.

I still think it would be funny to toss a flashbang into a classroom of students, but then again, I have a defused hand grenade as a paperweight on my desk.
