and then having this be the draft....

1.12 E Thomas
2.4 J Hughes
2.11 BPA
2.18 C Thomas
3.5 BPA

(leaving the rest of your draft the same.) We get one extra pick and can cover all the same positions but miss on Spoon

(remember this is based on a Miami trade being the only one out there)

If I'm moving down to 12, I'd take Taylor Mays over Earl Thomas. Also, if I'm moving down to 12, I'm moving back into the first, because this team needs impact players.

It would look something like this:

1.12: Mays/Haden
1.18: Weatherspoon
2.4: Hughes
3.5: Linval Joseph
4-7: Same

No, offensive linemen? What a ****ing joke. /Geoffrey Choker

Yes.

Weatherspoon is a guy, who while not worth it at 5, will make the entire back seven better because of his leadership (not to mention his sideline-sideline range.

**** that if we trade down we better draft Brandon Graham. Until this team gets an actual pass rusher this defense will continue to suck.

Titty Meat 03-16-2010 06:16 PM

I meant we beter draft Graham because Hughes will be drafted before the Chiefs pick in round 2.

Brandon Graham is not worth the 12th pick in the draft.

If you'd want him at 20, I could see that.

However, the odds of the Chiefs taking either Graham or Hughes is very low. They aren't long enough to fit the profile.

Guys like Sapp, Kindle, Lang, Lindsey Witten are all much more likely.

What do you mean by long enough? If they draft Kindle over Graham because he's an inch taller thats ****ing stupid.

F-.

ok how about this draft to see if I can satisfy as many people as I can at once (not saying this is what I would personally want)

TRADE DOWN WITH MIAMI

1.12 E Thomas FS
2.4 J Hughes OLB
2.11 Demaryius Thomas WR
2.18 Vladimir Ducasse OT
3.5 Linval Joseph NT
4.4: J.D. Walton/Matt Tennant C
5a: Brandon Lang OLB
5b:Harry Coleman SS
5c:Lonyae Miller RB

OR

1.12 Sergio Kindle OLB
2.4 and 2.11 traded for 1.16 Taylor Mays S
2.18 Vladimir Ducasse OT
3.5 Linval Joseph NT
4.4: J.D. Walton/Matt Tennant C
5a: Brandon Lang OLB
5b:Harry Coleman SS
5c:Lonyae Miller RB

Kindle and Mays picks may have to be swapped... not sure

Hammock Parties 03-16-2010 06:27 PM

I wonder how Hamas would deal with the Chiefs taking Spoon at 5. He'd be fighting these conflicting emotions....****, a linebacker at 5....wait, ****, we got my boy spoon...****, Pioli! ****, MIZZOU! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! He would probably just not post out of inner turmoil.

BryanBusby 03-16-2010 06:30 PM

That first mock looks much better than the 2nd Austin.

I agree, I'd rather have E. Thomas, J Hughes and D. Thomas over just Kindle and Mays.

Nightfyre 03-16-2010 07:16 PM

1.12 Sean Weatherspoon
2.4 Maurkice Pouncey
2.11 Jerry Hughes
2.18 Damian Williams
3.4 Linval Joseph/Cam Thomas (if he miraculously falls)
4.4 Sam Young

There. Its POSSIBLE although somewhat unlikely.

That draft makes me want to kill myself, so good possibility it happens.

:D I do what I can. It is full of Boom/Bust prospects. What can I say? I like 'em.

Mecca 03-16-2010 08:08 PM

I don't really like the value either, Weatherspoon should go to a 4-3 team, I think you also gave the Chiefs 2 guys who are going in the 1st round at the top of the 2nd.
