The continuity is different, but the show looks like it has promise.

First 2 episodes imo were great. I loved that its set a few thousand years after. Though everyone has the same name. They do go into a little history.

I don't believe they are on Earth 3, but Thundara itself

no, they are on 3rd earth, at the beg they even talk about them still being there and Mumra is still around he's was on 3rd earth for thousands of years even before the 80's Cats got there.

I watched the first episode with my kids ( who both love the original show), but they were bored to tears by the new one. I thought it was okay. However, we all enjoy the new Voltron, which is a continuation an the original rather than a reboot. Hunk head rocks!
