That sandwich was just a bunch of white bread.
Let's see: 1/2 lb of pulled pork, smoked pork, ham, turkey, brisket and sausage. So that's 3 lbs of meat, plus 3 1/2 lb burgers = 4.5 lbs of meat, plus all the bread, plus 1.5 lbs of french fries. So let's say 6.5 lbs total. Nobody should eat 6.5 lbs of ANYTHING in one sitting. That's just stupid. |
I would replace the turkey with bacon to keep the piggy theme of the samich.
|
how much is that sammich? JFC..gotta be like $30.
It's almost like this guy came up with a big 'sandwich' after teh MvF craze |

smoked burgers are nasty.

I wonder if the meat they use for sammiches is as nasty/dry/taste like lunchmeat with a little smoke, as 90% of the places around KC that serve bbq sammiches.

I'll never forget the challenge where he downed a 6-pound milkshake and a 1.5-pound deli sandwich.
|
I've seen a few of those shows where I thought "no way he'll finish"....then he does.
I don't see how people could eat that much w/out throwing up. |

Eat everything that’s on the pretty plate in 45 minutes or less, and it’s free. But if you can’t, you’ll always pay Papa Bob’s $48 for the “Ultimate Destroyer” and get to take the rest of it home. Come to think about it, you’ll pay for it either way. If you succeed, you’ll get your picture on the Papa Bob’s Wall of Fame (or in some cases Wall of Shame,) an “I survived the Ultimate Destroyer” button, and a great big “Attaboy” or “Attagirl.” The Rules

I figured it would be a 'win' for Papa. Get people to come in and drop $50 to 'try' to finish it. Good way to boost sales, I would think(?)
..I was way off in my $30 guess. lol |

chalk it up to bad experiences with BBQ sammiches. I know good ones are out there...I've just gotta find them. |

Indeed. I need to search old threads to see if there is a BBQ sammich thread. I seriously don't know where to find a good one.:banghead: |
