This team doesn't have the grit yet IMO. They should have never lost site of the fact that they were whipping Denver's ass. Instead you could see the pressure crushing them simply because a bad ending to an awesome drive.

Everything you mentioned here say's they mentally played down to the competition. They weren't on their "A" game mentally on the offensive side of the ball is all I'm saying. You use the words "choke", "gripping hard", "laying down","Casseling" "no grit" "lost sight" tells me they mentally were much weaker today and played mentally weaker and closer to that of their competition but just enough to win.

When we play in our division we have to understand that the games are gonna be close no matter how much better we are then them or vice verses. When we play in the division throw out the records because they mean nothing. I will take this win becasue they are hard to come by when we play in our division. Saying that I still think we play better and look better against the Bolts, It doesnt guarantee a win but we will play better.

I agree that divisional play is usually different but we got our asses handed to us in their house and we were trying serve them tea and crumpets today after finally finding our "mojo" on the road these last 2 weeks. We should have at least won by 2TDs if we are just 1/2 on our offensive game mentally.

So you go and be satisfied with mediocrity while the rest of us strive to be the best we can be, OK:shrug: Hell we weren't even mediocre today(except for Carr and Colquitt) so that really should have pleased you, uh:rolleyes:

Sorry I'm late in responding, I just found this again when I found your negrep. And, no, my tampon doesn't need changing, but maybe you need to shut the **** up and enjoy a win when you get it. This is the NFL. Everyone gets paid to play, everyone's pretty good, no game is easy. The Chiefs fought through the fact that they were playing bad and did what they had to do, which is win the game. Frankly, you sound like a dumb-shit Yankees fan.

Sportshrink has to be in the discussion for stupid ****er of the year on this board.

Pasta Little Brioni 12-12-2010 11:28 AM

Yeah, they sure did that against San Fran, Jax, Zona, and Seattle

And why were they playing bad "at home" against an "inferior team" when they should have been "razor sharp" considering all the circumstances prior????

Maybe because they were "not 100% mentally on their game" allowing an inferior team to stay in the game possibly??:shrug:

They need to take care of business at home much better and especially against an inferior team PERIOD.

Unlike you, I don't accept poor mental play considering we had only a 1 game lead at that time, against an inferior team at HOME!!

It is apparent "mediocrity" is who you are and you are fine with it:shrug:

Champions don't prepare or play at a mediocre level. I want our Chiefs to be SB Champions.

Tell me I'm a stupidf**ker "IF" the Chiefs play down to these last 4 teams and allow SD or Oak for that matter back into the race??

Moron:rolleyes:

Did they play down to the Seahawks? Nope.

Stupid ****er.

The Bad Guy 12-12-2010 12:03 PM

The hilarious aspect of penisshrink's analysis is that the Chiefs were 10-38 the last 3 years. 12 games in a severe rebuild he thinks they are going to blow out bad teams when they are just learning to put teams away.

****ing tool.

I was still in the womb:D

It's apparent I'm just exposing everyone else's anxiety as the piling on takes place talking about what everybody fears here that are Chiefs 'might' do these last 4 games and I include myself.

The Denver game was disappointing and somewhat concerning considering all the circumstances going into that game which should have been a much different score IMO.

Yes a win is a win and Oakland gave us a nice unexpected present and I should be grateful which I am but that Denver game should've not been that difficult.
