Charles is clearly so much more than that. He's Barry Sanders without all the negative plays.
And he has HELD UP. No injuries. Man, I hope we do whatever we can to protect his career in KC. This offense will always be something as long as he's playing.

The comparison to Sanders is off the mark.
I said it at the time of the draft, and I still see it today.
Charles has the same kind of vison, patience and ability to set up his blocks that Priest had, and has the same kind of ability to burst to the hole, as well.
His speed is what sepates him from Priest.
Sanders, for all his elusiveness never set up his blocks the way that guys like Priest and Charles do/did, or a Walter Payton did.
If Sanders had that patience and block setting ability, he'd have run for 20,000+ yards.
