Ready to see him constantly sliding back in the draft to get more draft picks? NOT picking the guy on the board that YOU want (and are convinced is THE difference between winning the SB and not)?

Ready to see your favorite players leave the team for more money elsewhere?

Because if he's following the BB playbook, it's gonna happen. And believe me, huge portions of the fan base will NOT be happy. Some Pats fans still bitch about it, and can list EVERY player on the board that BB didn't draft who performed very well as a pro.

Um...how many SB's? A team that is a consistent contender for the last decade? I think Chiefs fans could live with it. If Pats fans are bitching about their team, it makes me hate them even more. No offense.

Yes, yes, and yes. Oh, and Pioli - if you are reading this: Matt Cassel is my favorite player.

Overall he's done a good job on paper this offseason.

I'm still puzzled over the NT's he's passed over in the last two drafts and the fact that he didn't draft or sign bigger named free agents for the OT positions.

heh, sometimes i think BB overthinks things and outsmarts himself instead of just doing the most obvious correct thing.

Some Pats fans have said that also.

No offense, but are you new around here?

Pioli has done a solid job to get this ship headed the right direction. I'm thinking we need to remember it was BOTH the slow and steady, PLUS the occasional splash approach that get the job done for NE. That and finding the franchise QB gem in the 6th round, who was ready to shock the world in season 1.5, that had a bit to do with it too.

I was already ticked this year that we didn't take Carimi @21, but after getting past that, I like what they did. Certainly takes the luster off that Houston is still holding out, i'll be frank on that one! Overall tho, if we can make some moves to keep multiple picks stacked for next year, allowing maximum flexibility, I'm totally on board with it. But I definitely think BB goes overboard, at least I hope it's more BB than SP.

Pats haven't won a SB since 2004. That's 7 years, which is a long time when you figure that Brady has been getting BETTER, and we damn well know he won't paly forever. He just had his 34th birthday. The time is NOW, scream the fanbase.

WHY did we pass on Clay Matthews? Our pass rush sucks and we trade away from the pick? WTF? Why do we never draft an OLB. How can you run a 3-4 withou a decent OLB? How can you win in the playoffs without a decent pass rush? How can you go 14-2 and then lose your first playoff game at home to the ****ing Jets?

It's endless, and I'm 1,000% sure that an equally large percentage of Chiefs fans would do the exact same thing in our shoes.

I tend to give BB all the benefit of doubt in the world, but sliding back in the draft is never fun, and trading picks into next year isn't exciting.

Well if Powe and Richardson work out he will have done good there also.

I understand what you are saying. Someone in Clarks position should always be looking for young talent and watching them as they develop especially from within.

I wouldn't know why Pioli would want to leave at some point except for maybe to head back East?

The Pats loss to the Jets cause they got out coached that day period.

Two, at some point they need to start drafting talent instead of trading down "for next year." I feel your pain.

Then why did they release their leading sacker from last season?

I wonder what Pioli's approval rating will be at the end of December after KC faces a brutal schedule and likely goes 2-5.

This.

I like the direction of the team.....but a lot of this team is still really young and our schedule is rough. Even with these signings.....I'm still looking at anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7.

Agree w/ you two on that. We'd better start off like banshee, cause that stretch is killer, and I honestly don't think this team is ready for that. This team is still growing, with all the growing pains that come with it too. Last year was more an anomaly than a true indication of where we are from a progress standpoint. I enjoyed the hell out of it, but we're not there yet, and I really don't think we'll get 10 wins this season.

EDIT: Oh and I do think that late season bashing will fall on Cassel's shoulders, not Pioli. jmo
