We have a great running game with finally a legit passing attack from all angles and a Defense that could be ranked in the top 10 if everything clicks for us. We have a helluva a tougher schedule this yr and what you don't want to have happen is our team to be hitting on all cyclinders loaded with talent leading the division only for our starting QB to get hurt and then all you have is Palko or Stanzi?

FWIW, there is a 50/50 chance Orton gets released. Say what you will about Orton but he is smart, manages the game well and is far more accurate passer than Cassel IMO. The knock on him out here in Denver was, he was great between the 20's moving the ball up and down the field but as soon as he was in the redzone he failed. I see his so-called redzone failure as a severe lack of talent around him that you need around you in order to get that extra punch to get in the endzone. He had no talent around him after Josh's insane right 53 approach:rolleyes:

The Denver fans, sports media and coaching staff are in such a "quandry" out here because Tebow sucks that bad. Orton is lighting it up everyday but yet Orton and the Denver FO no longer want each others services. FO mgmt wishes Tebow could at least hit a receiver in stride instead of behind on just about every pass he makes:LOL: It's entertaining as hell listening to this Denver frustration out here with the fans saying to themselves, "Wow, Tebow really isn't God and actually sucks and why are we trying to trade Orton out of here??

Bottom line: Orton would be an excellent back up QB who could come in and keep moving our potent offense without ever missing a beat in case Cassel got hurt or Cassel started sucking the big one(holding on to the ball even longer or throwing more picks than usual) which is very possible.

You saw what he did to us in Denver, just sayin:shrug:

Your thoughts:thumb:

Well there is chance now:thumb:

How prophetic !!!:thumb:

I think back to the Patriots and Drew Bledsoe. What if the Patriots had brought in a vet to backup Bledsoe?

It's hard to develope young players if you always fall back on vets. IMO not bringing in a backup and finding out what we have in our youngs QBs is the way to go. This team is not going anywhere so bringing in a vet would be a total waste.

Did this guy actually bump a thread to brag about his "prophecy" that our backup QB situation is shitty?

Great call, bro.

Did we pick up Orton or something? Or is this just more meaningless anal leakage from schwartzshrink?

There was a lot of fail in this thread, fwiw. Like how Orton would NEVER be cut because the donks don't believe in Tebow.

...good times...

This is not part of the dumbassery. A crutch at this point only kills our attempt to develop the future of the franchise.

Orton is a Bronco this year. He is their starter. They don't believe in Tebow.
