In addition to everything else that has been mentioned the strength of the 3-4 is you can be creative with how you generate pressure and who you put into coverage. Its certainly nice to have the flexibility to be even more creative with personnel groupings by having those 4-3 sub packages while the base defense being a creative 3-4 front. Bottom line: We have a guy that is creative with his defensive scheming and knows his shit in the 3-4 why marginalize him by switching to a 4-3 base?
