Agreed.

Yes I would be willing to help out as llama's streams were excellent last year, but only if this is set up in a more discreet manner.

Reerun_KC 09-07-2011 07:56 AM

I used to offer my slingbox to folks for football and basketball... Heck even offered it to MU fans on here for basketball...

But we moved out into the country now, I went from a cox 50mb down and 5mb up to 1mb up and down...

I dont think my stream will be that good anymore, so it probably wont offering that to folks... I will be willing to try it when the games start, just cant guarantee the quality anymore...

Ya, put this shit in Media Center where no one ever looks.

It means people probably don't want to go on a public message board that can be archived and come out and say "Yes, I want to break the law. Please tell me how I can take part."

Google doesn't care what subforum it's in. You don't think the league has people on its payroll whose only job is googling for illicit streams? If it's viewable to the public it can always be found eventually. I'm worried because the exchange of money would make it a target.

But I'll just give llama money because he's a nice guy and I feel bad about his house situation.

Right now I'm pretty much homeless.

I can setup the streams again, but somebody will have to feed the streams. Someone in KC with a video capture card and a Windows machine would be perfect and I can show them how to send it to my streaming servers.

Of course, somebody with ST and a windows machine with a video capture card would work too...

Basically you just upload the stream to my servers and they do all the work.

The games cost me about $20 each last year in bandwidth costs.

Claythan/GoChiefs/GifHorse I'm looking your way...

Is there a grand llama fund drive going on, to help him with his hard times? I'd be interested in that. In return someone can send a smoke signal to all interested parties with a password link to where to make the donations on a weekly basis.

I don't think he knows how, surprisingly so. Think he said that last week.

I would also be willing to donate to a planeteer in need. Now this illegal streaming stuff, I don't even know what that means.
