On his own, though, Haley hasn't done enough to deserve to keep his job, so it's difficult to get too upset about it.

This. Pioli seems to think you can only add 5 or 6 pieces per year to get depth. Hell this years draft which was viewed by many to be a very solid draft, has 2 guys playing. 2 ****ing guys.

Time for a change. Wiegmann needs to retire. He gets physically manhandled. Gaither at RT. Richardson is bad, why, keep running him out there.

****. I'm so tired of this preferential treatment to players who suck.

Hudson,Stanzi,Powe need to all be active next week and play. IMO this is a great time to throw Stanzi in there. THis 5 game stretch will tell you all you need to know about the guy. What is the point of running Cassel out there? You knwo what you have in the guy.

I said it in another thread, if the FO was as big on Stanzi as they said, why not insert him now?

Perfect time with this 5 game stretch coming up to find out what the kid has got. Sink or Swim bro.

Sink.

Andrew Luck would sink with this upcoming 5 game schedule and the performance of the rest of the team and coaching.

Explain what the point of firing him now is.

You get someone else to make a case for being the next head coach.

You see which players pack it in and who are worthy of keeping their jobs.

You show the fans you ****ing care and aren't just a fat guy in a suit lining your pockets with Hunt money and your gut with KC BBQ.

i'm not doing the math, but i figure when we get beat by 40+ by the pats monday, on national television and ruin pioli's big homecoming... that will be the end for haley.

luckily, cassel will still be around...

Haley is just as inept as Cassel is at the QB position. God I hate Haley....

NE has the worst D in the league.

Hammock Parties 11-13-2011 03:23 PM

So what's the point of keeping Haley the rest of the year? Let's hear it.

DeezNutz 11-13-2011 03:23 PM

At home, we lost to a team with 2 completions. But I have complete confidence in the coaching staff.

'Hamas' Jenkins 11-13-2011 03:23 PM

Laying it solely on Haley is foolish. He's a bad-to-mediocre head coach, no doubt, but he's been saddled with a piss awful QB by a terrible GM hired by one of the worst owners in the league.

It's a systemic problem.

Interim coaches dont make a case for anything.

Then **** it draft one of the qbs in this draft. Look at what Dalton did today against the Steelers.

Shit start Stanzi against the Pats. They have the worst secondary in the league, why not get him some confidence.

The fact that we though it was a good idea to pay/play a qb who didnt even play the position in college makes me wanna ****ing vomit.

... And we still won't score a TD on them.

tredadda 11-13-2011 03:24 PM

I just can't see him getting fired. A great QB makes an average HC look like a genius while a subpar QB makes a genius coach look bad.

I realize all of this, of course, but I've accepted the fact that Pioli and Cassel aren't going anywhere for at least two years.

Fans want Cassel benched first. If we don't improve, then obviously Haley is done.
