It'd be nice not having to trade up for Barkley. Draftubators get there QB round 1 True Fans get a Left Tackle round 2 we'd all be happy.

If you look around, there are a few places saying RG3 wants to get his masters next year.

I dont think he will be in this draft, but if he is he should be neck and neck with Barkley after his game this past weekend.

He really stepped up when his team needed him to and against really good competition.

...

Even if he does declare, I wouldnt trade up to select him...Id trade up for Barkley, but I dont think Id trade whole draft for a guy that would be a 1 year (minimum) project in our system.

Who knows though, the kid is smart as all beat hell. Maybe he could pick it up faster than I think.

At this point, I really dont care...I just want that warm cozy feeling (that I have NEVER had) that our team just might have a real QB somewhere in the mix.

I'm going to go at this from a realistic stance as to who I think will be the Chiefs next QB...

In no particular order:

Stanzi
Jones
RG3
Tannehill
Cousins
Foles - Don't want. I was high on the kid at the start of the year, but he's been garbage lately and has thrown 517 passes to match what QB's have done with 350-400 passes
Lindley - Don't want, but he fits the mold of a Pioli QB
Moore

Everyone else on the list I wouldn't have a problem with, given that they are drafted in their respected rounds.

The successes of Bradford and Newton have really caused me to wonder about the time frame in developing a QB. Anymore, it seems like talent (coupled with league rules that highly favor the passing attack) is trumping development time.

A project? WTF are you talking about? That kid will be ready to play day 1 in the NFL.

Be the #2 qb picked or finish a masters that you can finish later? RGIII is going pro.

I can absolutely see this team losing out.

Here's a list of teams with 3 wins or less:

Indy, Carolina, Minnesota, STL, Arizona, Jacksonville, Miami and Washington.

Indy will absolutely pick ahead of us.

Of the remaining teams, Carolina, Minnesota, STL, Arizona and Jacksonville all have high picks at QB or just traded for a guy.

Miami is going to win a few more games.

That leaves Washington and the 4-6 teams - Cleveland, Philly, San Diego, Seattle and Tampa.

Every one of those teams will win a few more games - except for Cleveland.

There's going to be an opportunity to trade up.

That's pretty much my point. Our best bet to win a game from here on out is probably at Denver, which I don't see us winning.

And yeah, plenty of teams currently in front of us who look good.

I'm fairly sure we'll have a really really high pick. And we better ****ing take a QB.

Great first year, down second, but the kid has clearly flashed a lot of talent. Not his problem that he's surrounded by a dog shit team. Put him on the Chiefs with our skill players, when they're healthy of course, and he would be insane.

I would expect ANY QB to have success with the offensive weapons the Chiefs have, which is why I want Cassel gone yesterday.

The Rams switched to a pass offense and Bradford has been complete garbage ever since. What happened to the QB fixes a lot of problems? Bradford was overrated, and apparently still is.

absolutely this.

Id love to have Bradford.

What if they get the top pick and want to move Bradford?

Id surely be one of the first ones on the line asking the cost....but you would surely have to figure in the amount of his contract and that would likely bring the cost down a little.

Bullshit.

The guy got a HAS and that has ****ed with his mechanics and delivery.

When healthy, he is one of, if not the most, accurate quarterbacks in the game.

Id love to have him.

:spock: He threw for barely over 60% last year.
