I can't say that he handled Charles, Bowe, or DJ incorrectly - all of them had not only their best seasons under Haley but catapulted to the top of the league at their respective positions. It's impossible to say if they did so directly BECAUSE of Haley but the simple fact that they did makes it impossible, in my opinion, to say that he handled them wrong.

I think he's handled Albert incorrectly and his philosophy about linemen in general seems to be flawed.

Haley failed to develop Matt Cassel. I think he really, really tried. There was the article in USA Today last year about Haley working with Cassel, not Weis. Ultimately his failure to develop Cassel will cost him his job, and the Chiefs fans another three wasted years.

Matt Cassel is our JaMarcus Russell. Front office forces a QB who doesn't have it on a coach.
