Seems like most guys I know with four working limbs should have been able to get a full-ride scholarship to Pitt if he did. I can't even comprehend how he played QB in high school. He is an unmitigated walking cluster**** of a disaster.

With a bear scalp hanging from his belt.

I agree with coogs. Other than arm strength, which is likely a fatal long-term flaw, I think he may beat Cassel in every other facet of the game. I can see why the Chiefs have kept him on the roster.

I'll admit, though, that arm strength is a hard thing to teach. That's a problem.

I agree. But our offense with Cassel at the helm looks far more like the Bears offense did today. Just damn painful to watch.

And there are QB's out there that can do things like Palko can, plus have better arm strength. One that comes to mind for me is in the draft. RGIII. But that is JMO

You're right
He did in 3 starts what Brokie couldn't do in 11(?)

Palko has done nothing but suck, including today. He single-handedly lost us the Pittsburgh game, even though the defense played inspired, crazy-awesome football for four quarters to make it a would-have-been lay-up win with any offense.

I know we're in the minority, but like you, when Palko goes back I don't expect the worst, which is unfortunately the case whenever I see Cassel drop back.

Granted, Palko is likely statistically worse than Cassel on things like interceptions, so I'm not sure why I feel differently about them. Interceptions aside, I think it's because I don't see Palko doing inexplicable things like throwing the ball 20 yards into the stands instead of looking at his second read.

Compared to Cassel, yes.

Overall, LMAO

Thigpen couldn't play from under center though.

He was much more entertaining anyway.

Yeah, I think all of us would enjoy watching Rodgers or Brady in a Chiefs uniform more. But compared to Cassel, I actually enjoy watching Palko more. With Cassel I always wince when he drops back, and with Palko I don't.

Has the Chiefs ever won a game with a QB they drafted

Yes. But I believe I saw a stat the other day that siad it had been in the ball park of 25 years since that had happened.

If we are just comaring him to Cassel then ok. His slow release, horrible ball, awful accuracy at times, and noodle arm, comparing him to a QB that we actually need to win a SB is much different.

Cassel's 2nd rounder we spent is pretty much the equivalent of drafting a franchise QB /reeruns at Arrowhead Pride
