85 IS ALL JACKED UP.... from the 55 MM to about the 47 construction but the good news for most is they work at night but I have seen 5-6 mile backups at 11 pm
85 South is crap until you get to the 38 mile marker which is I77 be aware that people will cross 4 lanes and cut you off there at anytime of the day...
77 is bad from about I-40 thru Lake Norman to Charlotte

One drop of rain and you should expect a wreck somewhere and a backup

I'm not sure why anyone would want to live in Concord or Kannapolis....while Kannapolis is trying to revive itself after the close of Cannon Mills by putting a Tech Center there, I would never want to live there. Cute place to visit with the Village there, but not somewhere I would want to live.

Concord is a crazy place to live because of two things......Lowes Motor Speedway and Concord Mills Mall. If you live in Concord (kinda depending on where in Concord) you can forget being able to get anywhere or eat anywhere during race weeks or around Christmas.

I don't know who suggested that you live south of Charlotte, but that makes the most sense. If you live in SC there are some taxes that you don't have to worry about in NC-Charlotte area.

When I lived in Charlotte I tried to find a sports bar or group that watched the Chiefs....was never one in the area, but there were a couple in the Raleigh area.

You live about 60 miles north of Charlotte and you're giving him crap? Depending on just how much north you shouldn't be talking sh** about trailer parks. I've seen what is up in Love Valley, Olin and Harmony....

Dude... Don't you even try to compare any place in NC with the number of trailer parks in the KC Area LMAO

See...you are making some bad assumptions. I don't live in KC anymore and haven't since 1995.

But I have lived in the NC area that you are talking about, and I know enough having traveled that area extensively that there ARE more trailers in NC than in KC.

You know what I meant....hell, pick the area around Statesville NC (a city 1/10the the size of KC) and compare trailers/trailer parks. It's not even a contest when you look at the number of trailers compared to the size of the city.
