I'm sorry for your loss, but your family is your real treasure and they are safe. May God grant you and your family the strength to get through this tough time.

About 20 years ago my uncle's house was destroyed by a microburst. Total loss - they got a handful of things out but mostly stuff was destroyed or blown away. However, the insurance company built a brand new house on the existing foundation and loaded it up with brand new stuff, all the the price of a deductible. Looking back now, my uncle says it was the best thing that ever happened to him.

Perhaps one day you'll look on this the same way.
