Strange. I still think it's a done deal with Crennel. Maybe not. Maybe Pioli is scouring the field for a coach who thinks Matt Cassel is a franchise quarterback after Crennel told him to shove Matt Cassel up his ass.

Exactly. There is NOBODY out there who is the perfect candidate. No matter who gets brought in for an interview, there will be at least a dozen posters here who will slam him, say "No ****ing way", and tell us that they're done with the Chiefs if they hire "this" guy.

I think Del Rio is an interesting candidate. I wouldn't be thrilled with the hire, but I'd keep an open mind.
