Given the XBox nature of the game today, I really don't know why QBs just don't wing it deep every play. More often than not they'll get a PI call like Cincy did. (If I were playing the Patriots, I'd certainly drop back and do that all day long.)

I've always liked the idea of an "incidental" and a "flagrant". For most of the ticky-tack PIs they call nowadays, an "incidental" 15-yard call is fine; for the rare cases where a defender mugs a receiver, call the old-school "spot of the foul".
