The more I think about it if the 1st round pick is Trent Richardson then it's a total Pioli ( to keep selling Cassel as a "good" QB) pick but if it's Poe then of course then it's a Crennel selection.

Nobody is saying to draft a LT. Period. They are talking about drafting a RT at #11/12. So your "franchise LT" comment is dumb.

Also, the sooner you eliminate all other possibilities of failure, the sooner they will point the finger at Cassel. Hopefully, by that time, Stanzi's developed into something resembling an NFL QB.

Take the best RT in the draft who actually played RT in college and a guy that could be had in the second round.

Dont like taking a G at 11, but DeCastro's shelf life is longer than Richardson. 11 next year most likely gets us a QB, but we will be healthy next year and pick in the mid 20's. such is the life of a Chiefs fan.
