I generally go to movies before noon. Never have any problems with anybody. Rarely more than 20 people in the whole theater.

My wife and I do this. We go to the earliest show available on a Sunday. Even newly released showings are pretty quiet.

Yeah, Sunday during church hours is a great time.

Sunday morning's good for the grocery, too.

Same here. Early shows are great.

Wait...yes I can. This is ChiefsPlanet. The home of "intellectual dishonesty".

Now I'm not saying he should have killed her... but I understand.

You know one of the kids said "you can't touch us, we're just kids." MYTH BUSTED!

I've only got two issues with the situation:

1. It wasn't his kid.
2. He hit him hard enough to cause permanent damage.

Aside from that, the kid probably deserved it.

Not necessarily. At 10 years old, could easily have been a baby tooth.

True. Regardless, hitting a kid hard enough in the face to knock out a tooth is going too far (unless it was about to fall out on its own or something).

End of discussion.

I'm sure he thought it was a grown man talking in a child's voice and throwing popcorn.

It's actually in our best interest to applaud. We have no connection to the guy who got arrested, and there's a chance that we'll end up in a theater next to a quiet kid as a result of his actions. The guy sacrificed himself for the sake of society, and should be remembered with a moment of silence every time we walk into a movie theater.

He shouldn't have hit the kid, but if you throw popcorn at someone in the movies expect to get punched in the face.
