So? It was preseason. Cassel has had two good games but people are still bashing him because it's preseason.

Routt had the exact same type of season as Carr had last year when he was Namdi's #2 thus earning the #1 in Oakland. People need to get over this Routt thing. Carr was a FA. He wanted #1 money. Not gonna pay two #1 corner salaries.

You've got to understand that those ****ers consider themselves football personnel Einsteins. They piss and moan about every move the Chiefs make, and regale everyone with long-winded diatribes about how they would run the team, and how much better off the Chiefs would be if only they were the GM or coach.

So you see, if the Chiefs suffer misfortune, or lose games, they can proudly crow about their opinions being vindicated, loudly thump their chests, and pretty much just pee all over themselves in happiness.

They would much rather see the Chiefs go 0-16 so they can keep pretending like they know what the **** they are talking about, than see the Chiefs win a Super Bowl.

or it's because certain fans saw an entire offseason of opportunity to AVOID these type of situations, and yet, watched the Front Office shit the bed.

Re-signing certain players, Free Agency, Draft, etc.

Many people's fears were right. Drafting O-line in the 2nd and 3rd round back to back now has bit us in the ass in terms of depth at other positions.

Can't say for certain what's going on with Flowers. But don't think they'd make him stand at practice for 2 hrs if he had broken foot

DAMNIT. We have to win this game. If not, we're gunna start 0-3 again.

I had no idea the first game was worth three games. WTF did this happen?

Doesn't look good - that's why I like to take them one game at a time.

If they didn't draft o-line people would then just bitch about a lack if o-line depth.

Then pay the man who didn't have injury issues number one money.

Hint: his number wasn't 24.

There is no way you can avoid an area of your team becoming weaker when you suffer injuries in that area.

What situations is it that they could have avoided that you are speaking of?

Two years in a row though

what team has snowballed like this in back to back seasons to start? I'm not trying to get in panic mode here, but we are losing some good players to start the season, just like last year. Surely there are ways to avoid that or band aid it (i.e. Depth?) No?
