They have never played with a lead this season.

ONe of the biggest problems with this team is that the coaches won't even design a gameplan that plays to their players strengths. They just keep trying to shove that gigantic square peg into the ridiculously tiny round hole.

But leads? Why do you need to be leading to avoid giving up 29.9 points a friggen game? If anything the leads the other teams have probably keeps the score lower because they take their feet off the gas quicker

Yep. This defense is getting its ass handed to them in the first qtr, long before its reasonable to lay blame on the offense.

I do believe the overall D talent is better than what we are seeing, but at the same time I don't see a lot great individual performances. Outside of DJ a few games, and Houston once, our defensive stars aren't shining very bright. The overall scheme may be responsible for the end result, but I don't see guys winning their individual battles very often.

It may be time to start considering the idea that the talent level on this defense isn't quite what we thought.

i would be surprised if Romeo, Daboll and Pioli finish the season.
all three should be fired pronto.

Just fire Pioli and the rest go away. Anything less and the fans lose.
