So he should do his job, and not open his mouth because athletes shouldn't be allowed to voice their opinion?
Interestingly enough he wrote a letter to a democratic senator who told his owner the same thing about another player who opposed gay marriage. "Do your job.. nobody wants to hear your opinion".
Nobody wants to hear anyone's opinion, but here in America we have this bill of rights thing that allows him to do so. He's creating his own pulpit and if people want to listen and agree, good for them.
