We'll have to agree to disagree then. I think a thank you banner would be a nice touch.

"We" wanted change. "We" got change and will get more. That's the point.

How about a thanks for listening message. As was stated they have not become anything special yet. Or a new era of chiefs football-2013-thanks clark!
Sea of red returns! Fall 2013! Over training camp.

Thanking a guy for making a business decision which will likely make him more money and save his crumbling product and one he was likely going to make anyway seems silly.

Thank him for having the balls to MOVE on from his first choice. He clearly saw it wasn't working and made changes........... How can you criticize him for that?

This turned into one hell of a buzzkill thread

ComfortablyNumb 01-04-2013 01:51 PM

I said it in one of the other 100 threads today, but I'd kick in another $50 to the SOC fund for a positive/thank you banner.

"FIRE REID. BENCH GENO"

WHY IS THIS NOT IN THE SOC MOVEMENT THREAD???

Too many replicate threads this last week.....

You can't but should there be a thank you for doing the obvious thing? All he has done is remove the cancer. The healing has yet to begin. We have to see what comes next.

He has a history of throwing money at the most attractive guy available and then washing his hands of the situation. He's pledged to change. Let's see if he does before we give him our total faith and trust.

I'm focused on the now. The now is that Clark went and got a guy who has more playoff wins then the entire franchise has in its long existence. For a fan of a team who has had their ass handed to them for a while now, this gives me hope again. I'm not looking to pick it apart, I'm celebrating. There'll be plenty of time for Monday morning quarterbacking on Monday.

I'm celebrating too but we were celebrating four years ago and that didn't turn out so well. So let's see if Clark is true to his word and does more than sign a check and vanish...
