I love how Arians is like, "It's a perfect fit for me." I'm not knocking Arians, I really hope he does well there, but this is all that was left. All these coaching openings, Bears, Eagles, etc were talking about bringing in Arians and then they all went in opposite directions even after he got out of the hospital and to his interviews. If I were a Cards fan I would think that the Cards settled because they couldn't get the coach they should've.

I don't disagree but who should they have hired?

Mike Zimmer

The fact he's not a Head Coach yet is a crime.

The eagles was learning the wide 9 def that looks a lot like our def under Horton and didn't it take time for our def to gel under horton or did it gel ? but the eagles were learning it at mid season when the players pretty much quit we all heard that from some of the players on the eagles.

Good question....It sounds like the didn't have a plan B when KC sniped them and took Reid.

Same deal as with Arians. When you are that successful for that long, yet your name never comes up, there's usually a reason why.

The nfl is a close fraternity. There are bad owners, but there are some real good ones too. The good ones obviously know something about Zimmer that's raising red flags. Same reason al Saunders and Ron Rivera struggled for so long to find head coaching gigs.

There is and are reasons that are non-football related I'm sure.

Airplane banners and twitter. That's all it takes.

We could work some shit out for them, but it'd have to be creative. For instance, black is one of their team colors. So is white. So we couldn't do a blackout, or a whiteout. It'd have to be like, a yellowout? LMAO

he's out and available

Deberg_1990 01-18-2013 11:31 AM

Wouldnt surprise me if the league looked into this. Especially since there were no minority head coaching hires.

Sorter 01-18-2013 11:34 AM

Can we fire Sutton already? ROFL

Teams are going more "offense" - especially with the rules the way they currently are. There are hardly any minority OC's out there (I can only think of Caldwell with Baltimore), which I bet is one of the main reasons for the lack of hires this year. I would not be surprised if they expand on the Rooney Rule and extend it to coordinators as well.

Al Saunders had a head coaching gig, way back in the 80's.

He was a flake and an asshole, basically got blacklisted because of it.
