He may be a perfect example of a diamond in the rough.

I guess my imagination was running wild. The only team that has worked with him was the Raiders. Maybe they just ****ed up royal the way they worked with him. Usually busts go to 2nd or 3rd teams before they wash out. I don't give a shit, but he could possibly surprise people.
|
im not defending the guy but we just gave up a 2nd round pick for a QB that also had very similar numbers as Jamarcus his first 3 years
so let that sink in |
I'm rooting for him for purely selfish reasons. Love watching freak of nature athletes and that's easily the strongest arm on a qb I've ever seen.
I remember once watching the dude throw a frozen rope bullet some 30 yards while off balance/falling backwards. His madden arm strength rating should be 8000. |

On the other hand, Alex smith scares me mostly because I don't see any chance of having a high powered offense with him. So in that case, yeah, it'd be great to watch as a Chief fan, because at least it'd be a distraction. |
That's cool that he still has some arm strength, and still needs to lose 70lbs, but can he read a playbook.
No, not "can he read a defense". Can he read a playbook? |
2 former #1 one picks sign him
|
Can't say that the NFL would be less interesting with him playing.
|
I would love to have his cannon for an arm...I'd be in the NFL right now

one of the biggest busts ever .. worthless ....

I really didn't see anything impressive in that video, other than the long bomb which he missed anyways. I will always love that guy for his comeback against the Donks in Pile High that knocked them out of the playoffs. I swear it was the one game in his career where he looked even partially competent.
How serious can he be if he can't even drop the weight to make his "comeback"? |
