Briggs has been the best LBer on that team for a while now... Urlacher should have retired 2-3 years ago...

No one could ride a stationary bike like Zach Thomas.

He's done. I think he'd make a fine Raider.

PFF judgment has him being a brokedick.

Not a blistering tackler, wasnt a sackmeister, yet he did get it done for a long time... rock solid but unspectacular, if i had to sum it up. |
He probably got herpes from Paris Hilton, so there's that.

Brian Urlacher was a great player for a long time.
He's also even more proof that every position is beholden to QB. Best years of career wasted on: Cade McNown, Jim Miller, Kordell ****ing Stewart, Chad Hutchinson, Kyle Orton, Rex Grossman and Brian Griese. |

Evidently da Bears made him some sort of low ball ass offer totaling 2 mil and wasn't guaranteed.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-walking-away/ "The Bears fired a coach who won 10 games last year, so it’s no surprise they’re taking a “just-a-business” approach. But the way they treated Brian Urlacher on the way out the door borders on insulting. Urlacher told Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune the Bears offered him a one-year deal that topped out at $2 million, meaning that amount wasn’t guaranteed." |

The other three (Studebaker, Greenwood, and Sturdivant) are nothing to write home about and could easily be upgraded. Even if we kept all six for a 34 defense we will likely need two more. But my guess is that we'll draft a couple and sign a couple free agents because I don't see us not trying to upgrade. We need one starter inside and at least two upgrades for depth, IMO. |
