Hey cool. I forgot what unit I was in but we had this black Drill Sergeant Farmer and I was scared shitless when he just stood there with his arms crossed. He wouldn't say much at all was a big black man.
Then we had this other bulky white drill sergeant that was mean as hell and would flip tables but I wasn't scared of him just couldn't respect the guy.
The scariest ones were the black female drill sergeants MY GOD I saw this one make grown men cry. Glad I didn't have one as my instructor.
It was summer of 1992 my junior year in high school.

haha, yeah, I went late. I went straight from basic, to a deployment. I went in 2006. And yes, the scariest Drill Sergeants were always the females. They were beasts. Ours were okay. We had this black wanna be name Peacock, who kinda looked like freddy kruger, and we had a black guy named Mazziel. He was a dick, but told funny stories. About half way through our cycle, we got this dude named Maddux. He was cool because he didn't like the training, he thought we should do shit more according to what we were actually going to face. The rest of the battery drill sergeants hated him......But we loved him. I was in 1-122 bravo.
