7th overall to the Cardinals. Didn't flourish until he went to Chicago in his 5th season.

Cedric Benson (4th ovr pick) would be a good example too but he sucked in Chicago and was pretty good in Cinci.

Bernard Pollard

Donte Whitner

Carlos Rogers

Would Tony Mandarich count? He was a high pick who busted out and then had a solid few years with Indy.

DaKCMan AP 08-19-2013 12:48 PM

Leonard Davis.

Hrmmm....Bernard Pollard was the same player imo. He wasn't bad as a Chief.

Rogers had one good year in SF and all i hear about is how SF needs DB help....

James Farrior.

Ethan Horton was a bust for us...but became a serviceable TE for oakland for years.

False.

He wasn't good in Cinci, he just got more carries.

I was heartsick when we picked him up from Baltimore... "WHAT? MAN **** THIS GUY"

Really? Holmes was the best running back in Texas, better than Ricky Williams. He had a 1,000 yards rushing in 1998.

I loved the guy.

Brett Favre is probably the biggest one.

Best example in this thread yet.

He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 4th round to play safety. When he refused, he was shipped off to Minnesota.

No way does that count.

Different circumstances all together.

I'm fairly certain Priest had at least a 4 ypc average. I remember that because I argued in favor of him on this bb when that trade happened and people were bitching. Still, he was an undrafted rookie free agent. Therefore he couldn't possibly be considered a bust.
