I like the Anthem. I don't like it all scooby fied. Home of the Chiefs all good to me.

While I don't care for melisma either, I tend to be more bothered by singers that take the tempo way too slow. It's not a ballad, and it's not a funeral dirge.

You know what really infuriates me? It makes me nearly homocidal to hear people referring to freelance scooby dooing as "melisma". I suspect that this is a nearly universal sentiment.

I always look at it as a remake, every musician puts his own flavor on remakes. It doesn't offend me.
