I think the coaches scaled back on the playbook and went vanilla after it was obvious the team on the field wasn't executing worth a shit.

Wishful thinking up in this thread.

It's just much more straight forward to think that we had a bad game that day and hope that we play better on Saturday.

I've stated no conspiracy was in place. Just found it interesting that the idea is being talked about throughout all Chief fans. Probably like you said............some kind of subliminal reason as to why this Saturday will be different than the last game.

Of course he did. Andy is the Mandy!

Even the players said after the game that they knew they would be facing the Colts again and that they didn't give the best effort.

Like a porn star filming a long scene, hell ya we held back.

MahiMike how are ya? Hosting a chiefs watch party at my house with our group. You should make the trip. We have a huge competitive smoker for the meat and a professional margarita machine.

We slacked after making it into the playoffs-they looked like they didn't want to play hard and get hurt. It was ugly and the Colts came out fired up.

Its not absurd to think that Reid called the game vanilla after his players stopped putting in effort after the 1st qtr..

Chargers over Cinci, we play NE and they play Denver no?

Did they set out to play conservatively? No probably not, but I think a coach can adapt to lack of effort and the likelihood of playing the same team in the playoffs and shelve their game plan a bit..

Preface: I happen to be a very patient person who has no problem with delayed gratification.

Before the game I told my buddies that I hoped the Chiefs would not attempt to fully exploit any holes that they found in the Colts defense.

I said that I hoped we would not use our true gameplan against the Colts. I was fine with possibly sacrificing a win for an advantage in the playoffs.

I wish.
