Velveeta is only for kids and trailer trash

Queso Blanco is OK

My write in candidate would be something like shredded gruyere or emmental or raclette. They all melt nice without overpowering flavors or salt

Actually, I remember seeing on TV that Velveeta... versus cheddar... Velveeta... melts much better

I'd go with shredded pepperjack.

Colby pepper jack.

If people don't like the peppers in pepper jack...well, **** those people. They suck.

When you are starting with a store bought hot dog, you need, desperately, to change the flavor profile.

Pepperjack makes Subway sandwiches edible. That's how good it is.

The more I think about it, the more I think you and Austin are right about Gruyère.

Then again, this is for Rausch. Pretty sure French cheese is a non-starter.

All these cheeses are Swiss, not French! You should be safe :thumb:

He's also using bacon and pulled pork.

Again, pepperjack is a GREAT cheese, I love it. But it dramatically changes the flavor profile. If he wanted peppers, he could just put peppers on the dogs.
