Any chance I can still get a jersey or did the rush on them already cause a sellout?

I'm not sure whether he's too stubborn or just not bright enough to see that his future in the NFL is not as a QB. He would rather be a 2nd or 3rd string QB than a WR/TE, which he would probably be great at. Don't know if anyone has explained to him that no. 1 receivers tend to make more than backup QBs...

At any rate, the Raiders were going to release him anyway. SF offered some Colecovision games and an ALF TV tray. Seattle offered the last pick of the 7th round and won the bidding war, but barely.

Aw, shucks.

But to be fair, someone on this board has started a thread on virtually every move the Raiders have made in FA.

Always love to see great athletes come to camp to compete for a job. I'm kind of intrigued, him and Tarvaris can compete for the backup job. Perhaps Pryor gets the nod due to his ability to step in as an h back or receiver? Could be interesting.

If you guys can convince him to do that, props to you. I still think he would still be a Raider if he were willing to change positions, though.

Maybe so, oh well we'll cut him if he proves to be less valuable than Tarvaris.

I'm thinking now is the time to do whatever you can to stay in the league.

No bigs even if we cut him.

Wasn't someone posting that Pryor was better than Alex Smith, after some game where Pryor ran for 100 yards leading his team to a loss? Hmm.

Oh for sure. The same ones thought that guys like Jason Campbell would have been an upgrade.

Is Carroll starting to believe his own hype, or could this guy actually do something on a well coached team?

He will be the highest paid QB on the team.
Seahawks said yesterday they want to try him at WR or TE, and he sems willing to do it unlike Tebow.
