Knowing the Royals, they'll probably make us sweat until Sunday. ;)

Might want to forward that to Buster Olney. He was on 810 Thursday saying that if Sunday's game meant something in the standings, Sale might go to Ventura and ask to pitch, because he's super-competitive.

Robin Ventura might be the biggest douche-bag in all of MLB. I wish Nolan Ryan would have crushed his skull

Will this be the last we see of Guts in a starting capacity this year? I hope so.

Right-handed slugger Josh Willingham has decided to retire following the conclusion of the 2014 campaign, according to a report from Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. According to Berardino, the 35-year-old Willingham has told people close to him that he is “100 percent retiring,” although agent Matt Sosnick tells MLBTR’s Tim Dierkes that “Josh and [his wife] Ginger haven’t made a definitive decision.”

Pretty sure Josh retired on some of his recent ab's

I don't know. I think at this point, if we advance past the Wildcard round, I'd prefer to see him over Vargas.

His last game was that miserable outing last Saturday. Wonder if he's healthy enough to be on the postseason roster.

Sad way to go out if that's it for him.

Flying? Want I should call in a bomb threat?*

*Attention NSA! This is a joke and I would never consider doing such a thing.

I land at 600, and then I have a late dinner meeting scheduled at 7pm. I am so pissed right now. I scheduled this about a 3 weeks ago.:banghead:

I'm very excited. 99% sure we're toast for the division, but I'll take any ticket into the playoffs. Got gotta crawl before you walk.

So is there a chance that the A's are forced to use Lester on Sunday just to try to get in? I know it's unlikely and would be on 3 days rest, but I was thinking about that today.

Even if they don't, I like our chances against Oakland or Seattle. Seriously, they're both choking on bags 'o dicks right now.

Look at this week, even the suspended game and the game we lost in Cleveland. The offense has improved a bit. They're putting up a nice fight every game.
