I never said Fleming was the second coming of anything. I said he's better than Bartee. |

It was closer to 4/6. Just wanted to correct the record on that. |

People have had it out for him since day one. |

Seems he's been a pretty damn good corner for us |
Hey *I* was the guy who argued he was one of the better signings in 2013. And I still believe that. But that doesn't change the fact that he has a tough cap number in 2015.
He's got elite measurables to be a #1 CB, and when the light is on, that's exactly what he is. When it's off however, he can get torched. I was extremely pleased about his play this preseason, how enthusiastic he was even playing on the 2nd team. He's a great presence in the locker room, and honestly the Chiefs may have no choice but to keep him for his last year, but that's #1 CB money he's making if we do. |

I have never gotten beaten in coverage on an NFL field.

Yes!! Watching that Chargers game I saw Gaines make 3-4 huge plays to break up really good passes by Rivers', was so stoked to see our DB's playing tight coverage and getting their damn heads around for the ball to make a play on it. We're turning a corner this season I can just feel it. My prediction: 10-6, Wildcard berth.

It's kind of amazing to me how much discussion is going into the benching of a 7th round waiver pickup who has been torched consistently.
The way everyone is analyzing this you'd think Cooper was a first round draft pick. |

I had, and still have long term hopes for Cooper but it is what it is. I don't think Fleming works out any better in the short term... |
